The leading cause of death for men continues to be heart disease; more than half of Australian men drink three or more standard serves of alcohol daily; in 2017-2018 three in four men were overweight or obese.

Becoming more mindful of your body’s need and emotional wellness is not difficult with some guidance. Change can happen at any age and faster than you think. Here are few hints that can make a whale of change.

1/Start the day right

Everyday life can be seen as a challenge just waiting to be won or as a celebration of life. Sometimes projects, family obligations, and to-do lists still manage to accumulate. To avoid to get caught up, you need to stay vigilant, aware of the pressure and implement some routines that can help you sustain your energy and mental peace.

A healthy breakfast for sustain energy

Our bodies require a certain level of vitamins and nutrients to function properly, and it’s often difficult to find these nutrients through our food. Mass production farming practices have reduced the quality of our food, often putting fruits and veggies on our shelves that may look appetising but are lacking key nutrients. Adopting a self-care routine can help you bridge nutritional gaps.

In the morning your body is hungry for nutrients. Avoid high fat, high sugar breakfast as you will be soon be starving and reaching for more fat or sugar (sugar is a very common and unsuspected addiction).
