Are you familiar with the scent of geranium?

Geranium is a very common plant in France. It evokes for me Parisian windows laden with red or pink Geranium in pots. They are said to keep mosquitoes away and bring a cheerful and welcoming scent. Geranium brings back many memories of my French childhood.
My grand-mother and mum were often talking about the virtues of the flowers and leaves! They were rubbing the leaf on insect bites, skin irritation and cold sores, adding the flower to desserts and allowing me and my brothers to pick some flowers and suck the sweet nectar!
If you love adding edible flowers to your salads are are willing to know more about  flowers read this article.

And few years ago I discovered Geranium Essential oil and all its benefits and I fell in love with the uplifting aroma.
Geranium essential oil is everywhere at home! I love its sweet, happy floral scent. Geranium has been used for centuries for regenerating and healing the skin and create magical perfumes. I use it topically to enhance the effect and scent of my body and skin care products.

I love adding few drops or Geranium and Ylang Ylang oil in my bath, a perfect match for a relaxing spa-like experience.

I diffuse Geranium oil to create an uplifting, pleasant environment, to support spiritual connection before Reiki. It’s also in the kitchen!

Why Young Living?

With essentail oils quality is a must. Our nose is a gateway to your brain and limbic system, we have to be mindful of inhaling only oils that are of the highest quality. Sadly many essential oils on the market are adulterated and don’t deliver the full benefit of the plant and can do more harm than good.

Most people do not realize essential oils have chemical properties in them and in order to get the full benefit out of that particular oil it has to be grown, harvested, and distilled the correct way or the oil contains no benefit to us.
Young Living’s Seed to Seal process  is unique and unmatched. Every step from planting to bottling is detailed and controlled.

Young Living has been a leader of the industry for 27 years because of their commitment to producing a pure, unadulterated oil. They are so devoted to creating a highly therapeutic product that they have their own farms all around the world. I have visited one of their farms in the South of France. They care for and nurture their own plants, trees, and shrubs, and finally distill, test, and bottle the oils that arrive on your doorstep.

Discover some of the commitments they abide by to fulfil their promise in sending only the best products to your home.

1. Plant material that is grown on corporately-owned farms or carefully vetted partner farms

2. sustainable farming and sourcing practices, providing the purest oil

3. great care taken to preserve and protect natural resources

4. hand-weeded fields and ZERO use of pesticides

5. oils that retain all their natural constituents and beneficial properties

6. use of food-grade distillers with state-of-the-art design and distillation methods

7. low pressure and low temperature distillation, without the use of solvents or synthetic chemicals

8. rigorous testing on each batch by internal labs and third-party facilities

9. oils that are carefully reviewed through every step of production in order to meet or exceed industry safety and purity standards (beyond organic!)

10. Integrity: if the oils do not meet these high standards they are rejected and will not be bottled as a Young Living product.
